Have you met BOB yet??

Bur oak blight (aka BOB) is a late season defoliating fungus that predominantly appears on bur oaks - though it has been noted on swamp white oaks as well. Diagnosed by wedge shaped necrosis, blackened veins on the underside of leaves and retention of petioles post defoliation that have small black fruiting bodies at base.
