My upgrade using update assistant also went smoothly. For some reason, update assistant would not proceed with installation without running Pc Health check first to verify that my hardware specs supported 24H2.

I installed in on 2 of the 3 windows machines I have at home. I didn't install it on the most used machine since I don't want to interfere with my work. My initial reaction is OneDrive seems a little better in my situation after I fixed a problem. I have a 25TB OneDrive from work. I have a small handful of folders to exclude so that the bulk of the data with several hundred million files doesn't attempt to sync to a 1 or 2TB NVMe drive. I had an issue with one of the excludes. Anyways after I fixed it by deleting the folder on the local machine the 12C/24T system was running smoothly again.

I updated to 24H2 through Insider, and again by 'normal' update. This was on the same machine. Both times, the update seemed to be fine, and worked perfectly, but, the next day, I could not get the system to boot into Windows.
This happened on both occasions.
The system went through POST, the Logo screen, and then a blinking cursor.
I have had to re-install Windows 11 23H2 both times, and won't be trying 24H2 again anytime soon.

Took 10 minutes on my computer an no issues. Yes it's definitely a little snappier (responsive). I did notice it removed my background an removed the settings icon from my taskbar. Upon trying to put the background back i noticed that section of the personlization settings menu had been redesigned a little so took me a minute to figure out how to put it back.

I installed the update the same way you installed it, but when using windows my ram memory went to 100% utilization couldn't open games and some apps were slow due to the lack of ram and I have 32GB of DDR 5 ram. I checked where my ram was used for but nothing came up on task manager or when using resmon. Has anybody had the same problem?

I used the iso file to upgrade from 22631.4249 (23h2) to 26100.1742 (24h2) then updated the 24h2 version via windows update to KB5043178 (26100.1882). On my Samsung 980 500GB it took around 25 mins to update.

I did it with the windows tool. But I didn't see any big changes. So installed explorer patcher again. The ui is still the same. Not recent files on pinned apps.. Not delete permanently files icon on file explorer.. etc etc. I see the same consume as before. I recommend to use windows debloat again after the update and registry tweak.

I had to fallback because I lost ability to copy, move or delete and paste.

I don't know why after doing a clean install several times I always found corrupted files when using sfc/ scannow.

I installed with a usb and the preinsall page is new and removed the useless upgrade option because just use the upgrade tool in windows also my wifi has an install driver button but i still needed shift+f10 explorer.exe to get a zip extracted
