Phase 3 is by far the most enjoyable for me. Ragnarok, Infinity War, and Endgame all in a row was incredible. That phase was so good I actually stopped watching Marvel stuff for a while when it was done. Everything felt complete.

Phase 2 comes in second because of GOTG and TWS. These are both top 5 MCU movies to me.

Phase 4 has No Way Home which was dope and Moonknight is really good so far. I haven’t really been blown away with anything else so far tho.

Phase 1 was amazing for its time. Especially the original iron man and the Avengers. But it doesn’t stack up anymore especially compared to the later parts

Phase 3(brings almost all my favorite movies, Spider-Man comes along, infinity best avengers movie imo, endgame amazing phase)

I actually really like Phase 4. I like the shows for the most part and it feels like phase 1 with them introducing new characters and now we know what to expect for the following phases when they have the new characters together so I’m excited to see all this come together and see the pay off

My ranking:

4: Phase 1
The best movies in this phase are just great, and the rest of the movies vary in quality.

3: Phase 4

The quality is all over the place, but at least there are some truly amazing projects in this one.

2: Phase 2
Decently high in quality with only one true misfire.

1: Phase 3
The only phase with no real misfires, the worst movie (GotG Vol 2) is just okay, and the rest of the movies range from very enjoyable to top tier.

It's hard for me to rank them because I like Phases 1, 2 and 4 all about the same. Phase 3 is easily the best one though

Here's kinda my theory/interpretation of the issue with phase 4. Everything in the movies sort of follows with the real world chronologically. That being until Thanos snapped his fingers in Infinity War. After that Endgame showed us that time jumped ahead five years. Since I.W. released in 2018, that means current MCU is set in 2023, with some things crossing into early 2024. It leads me to think that the goal right now is to just sit still and lay roots for phase 5 that way when 2023/2024 hits the MCU can go back to progressing forward with some direction. The clear problem with this approach is that it means phase 4 is left with no clear direction or path. It also makes new projects feels messy and rushed because they're trying to put down so many new roots. On top of that you have to consider the early parts of phase 4 had to work around COVID. Personally I still have much optimism for the MCU, we may just have to give it a year or two.

Although I do miss the old mcu phase 1 and 2 movies. They just felt more special. Like it felt like marvel was really trying.

Phase 3 was a different time man... nothing will ever top that era in early 2018 when we had Black Panther and Infinity War.

Phase 3: Overall the best and most exciting + consistent
Phase 1: I really like Iron man 1 + The Avengers, Thor and Cap 1 were both pretty good, TIH had some awesome moments.
Phase 2: 2 of the strongest MCU films but also a few disappointing ones
Phase 4: Feels inconsistent/rushed. Other than Shang Chi, every project has disappointed in some way, big or small. (FYI, I'm not saying Shang Chi was the best thing in phase 4, just the least disappointing)

1. Phase 3
Easy winner. Almost every movie was a huge hit, the "Marvel villain problem" was largely absent, a whole bunch of big names entered the fray, and the conclusion was epic and unforgettable

2. Phase 4
Some might call this a controversial placement, but in truth Phases 1, 2 and 4 are all really close together for me. However, 4 has the edge because I love how broad it's been in playing around with different genres; there have been at least a few projects that we never could've expected to see in any of the previous Phases (e.g. WandaVision, What If, MoM)

3. Phase 1
The one that started it all. Points for its simplicity and the fact that it had a clear trajectory from the get-go

4. Phase 2
Again, I actually hold this one very close to the two above - not least because it features Winter Soldier, which IMO is still the _crème de la crème_ of the entire MCU - but overall it kinda just felt like a stepping stone between Phases 1 and 3. Just lots of sequels and a very standalone climax

I agree with your list. Although I do think I like phase 4 more than other people. Wandavision, moon knight, no way home and to a certain extent Loki all blew me away.

1. Phase 3( gave me Spidey in the MCU and concluded the epic journey of the infinity saga).
2. Phase 2 ( start of the peak of the MCU and some of the best movies I’ve ever watched [winter soldier]).
3. Phase 4 ( so cluttered, some still good films and shows but no clear goal like we had with Thanos).
4. Phase 1 ( MCU was still finding its footing with only 2 really good movies[Iorn Man and Avengers]/6(I think).

Actually i feel like the reason for phase 4 being like that is because they were trying to set up new members for the avengers like a new phase 1 but everyone expects an endgame or no way home level of movie going now making the company feel like they need to one up themselves
