Remove Black Background from footage with Davinci Resolve

A viewer asked how to remove the black background from a piece of footage to be able to overlay it onto another piece of footage. In this video I show two different ways of accomplishing this. One with the Color page and another with Fusion.

Nice tut. For everyone asking about how to make the black transparent, just add a luma keyer in the setup and you are good to go....

I have a problem, my lower third has substantial black in it and both options that you showed are either taking away that black completely off of it or if adjusted there is still noise... do you have other solutions?
