Anthurium Luxurians Inflorescence and Leaf Timelapse

I wouldn’t have figured out why this new leaf has brown spots without this video. You can see the leaf get edema (those transparent looking spots) and then it starts to brown in those exact spots. The edema was caused by me watering too soon. I watered it once and then again 4 days later and that’s immediately when the edema showed up. I actually blame the time lapse video for causing me to water too soon 😂. Normally I pick up the pot to feel the weight or I feel the top inch of soil with my finger. With this Naked Root planter I can even take the inner pot out and see how wet the soil is. BUT with the time lapse going 🎥 I didn’t want to mess up the footage by disturbing the plant and I just watered it again without checking. I’m sure there was a bunch of water sitting in the reservoir. So, my bad Anthurium Luxurians for ruining your newest leaf 😅🥲. #anthuriumluxurians #planttimelapse #houseplants

Yep, edema is such a relatable struggle. Ive learned to except the imperfections :)
