From a woman’s perspective, no contact works every time. No matter who dumped who. I recently did it unintentionally to move on and heal but it was NOT to try to get him back first. My attraction for him didn’t change at all. Usually attraction is never the root issue for the breakup. However, If you want to get an ex back, you have to understand why you two broke up, consciously work on starting a NEW relationship (because the last one was a flop) with each other, so you don’t breakup again. If that’s not the goal, use no contact to move on and find someone new and don’t care if she comes back or not.

Got my ex back through no contact. When she dumped me I simply said nothing, no reaction no tears, got up and left. 3 weeks later texting me that she misses me and needs me in her life. OMG! This is the best advice about no contact ever. I’m a girl btw. You are so right...eventually you will be forced to go into no contact anyway...as the relationship gets worse or you meet someone better. So why wait, do it now and save time. Also the better you break away from this person he/she will soon just become a distant memory saving you from agonising over the why’s and blame etc. Thank you so much ❤️.

I think Tripp does an excellent job explaining what no contact is really about here. It USUALLY makes the other person comes back but that's not REALLY the point of it - the point of it is for your OWN mental healthy and happiness. Girls can drop a relationship for ANY number of emotional reasons - a guy walking away is the most masculine thing he can do.

I was watching this tripp, it spoke to me so well. Seven months i was with Jessica, i decided myself to use the complete " no contact" im going through a heartache. She might still call me, she has in the past. Im a college student, 37 years old. Have no children, single guy. I really feel like giving up on relationships.
