How to position your hands:

Put the thumb of you right hand on the C, your index finger on the D etc until all 5 fingers are on a white key. This will help a lot later in the song where you will encounter higher notes.

For your left hand, put your right thumb on the G, the index finger on the F etc. (this leaves a gap of 2 notes between your hands)
For this piece, this is actually kinda unhandy as you don't play notes that far to the left. It will be better for more complex songs later on, and you might as well get used to having it in the correct position.
