College Physics 1: Lecture 11 - Vector Components and Motion on a Ramp

Показать описание
In this lecture, we revisit vectors and expand our knowledge to include vector components and how to apply them. We then apply vectors to our first type of two-dimensional motion - motion along a ramp. In our next lecture, we will explore the work involved in dealing with projectile motion.

Note: this is another one of those lectures that I recorded while very tired. My apologies for any longer pauses and such.

I'm enjoying your Physics Lessons, but having reviewed both Physics 1 and 2 I don't see anything including friction; which is very important. Having subscribed to your videos can You recommend one of your videos or other videos?

Hi Spahn, I'm working through the course, in the ramp problem here @27:00 would delta x be the adjacent side of the triangle not the 360m hypotenuse? or is this a tilted axis example? Thanks for all these videos BTW they're great.
