HEADSPACE. Transgender daily struggles.

Headspace gives a rare and intimate glimpse into the trials and tribulations faced by trans folk on a daily basis. The film went viral in 2017 with over 4million views on HuffPost UK.

The film's all trans cast includes activist and model Munroe Bergdorf, model, singer and star of US reality show 'Strut', Laith Ashley, Youtuber and fitness model Kieran Moloney, Captain Hannah Winterbourne of the British Army, and writer and director Jake Graf. Headspace offers an as yet unseen insight into the every day transgender experience, and will hopefully promote much needed acceptance and understanding.

I will never know what it is like to be transgender but I strive to understand and put myself in the shoes of those who are. I thought being gay was hard but I see people who are transgender being discriminated against and I feel nothing but pain for them. If only the world we lived in was accepting. This video gives a small insight into what people have to deal with.

I’m not trans but I try my best to understand the trans community’s struggles by educating myself. I’m sorry the trans community has to go through all these issues. I hope a day soon comes where these issues no longer occur.

This is my favourite short documentary because no one talks about things like this. It’s so nice to hear someone speak up about the issues we face every day, being trans is extremely difficult. Suddenly small things we do every day become huge and we can’t avoid it. This was so real and honest, and its super awesome to see real trans people as well! I wish there were more things like this to educate people, this documentary is amazing
