Hi Lindie, South African Engineer here. I have found i have gone through the same process from jr to sr Engineer. Regarding asking for lots of help, getting feedback initially as a junior, to now just going ahead and getting stuff done. Making decisions, taking the initiative, being responsible and trustworthy and hardworking and efficient. It's been so nice for myself personally to have confidence in my skills and my experience. Finally the impostor syndrome is taking a back seat.

I don't think I will ever be a UI/UX designer but I have been learning web design, and freelancing for startups seems like a realistic goal that I am striving for currently. Hi Lindie. Thanks for the great video. I am learning UI UX design right now while being a full time employee, do you know a good remote learning program (even if it’s not free) I can do at my own pace ? I found many but i don’t really know which one will give me the needed skills (theory and practice). What do you think about the courses offered by universities and Google certificate available through Coursera ? Do you recommend a Youtuber’s course in particular ? I aim towards UI a little more but it depends on the companies, sometimes both UI and UX roles are mixed. Thanks a lot.
