The first disk with this was Lazaretto by Jack White. He saw holographs like these etched into metal disks at an art exhibit, so he contacted the artist and had him etch the grooves on a copy of metal master disk and it luckily worked when the records were pressed.

Best lighting is a single-LED flashlight, a very small tracklight spot, or a white LED on a camera, held above and pointing down. To see a non-blurred hologram, use a painfully bright "point-source, " not a wide frosted bulb.

Use two separate LED lights, makes two holographic images. Some technospeak: the deep 3D image is the "orthoscopic" image, while the flying, inside-out copy is the "pseudoscopic" image. Move your LED light source around and you can swap their positions.

Currently, other holo-vinyl albums are: Rush re-issue of "2112, " also "Lazeretto" by Jack White.

*_Damn... My 8-Tracks of The Force Awakens soundtrack only came with a comic book and three different colored 8-Tracks all in the clear-crystal colors of Lightsabers (green, red, and blue). I shoulda sprung for the records I guess..._*
