I see what you mean about that vocal breath. Love me a IVmaj7-->Imaj7, and in this song you see it coming everytime bc it's repeating throughout. And the way that melody soars, you want to feel like you're soaring between the chords and that breath comes right before the apex of that soaring melodic arc. If it were notated there'd prob be a big tie over every beat of that line and the breath is such an awkward hiccup.

The piano playing has no feeling (highly compressed) and he’s using auto tune. I’m very disgusted by music with fake VOX. Just my opinion.

breath doesn't bother me at all, such a nitpick imo. it sounds more emotional w/ it instead of being too perfect especially with autotune
