Basically, “buyer beware, damage costs aren’t shared”

I'm guessing the SCP Foundation is less than pleased with the existence of the Acme Corporation.

This reminds me of a homebrew rule I had in my DnD campaigns I would run about the Identify spell: While the spell reveals the properties and use of the magical item, the spell does not outright reveal if and what curse is on the item. Instead, the spell may reveal a magical fine print or essentially a warning label that the creator added. Many times this where I would hide a hint of what the curse may be or atleast the contingency needed to become cursed. The best part is that sometimes the warning can be a cryptic but possible to figure out phrase such as a strong but parasitic sword saying “Wield me only if thou can quench my eternal thirst least thy become the cup I drink from” (meaning it needs blood daily from enemies or it will drain from you), however other times the phrase can be super blunt and not very informative like ancient powerful helmet with lots of awesome power but the only thing the warning label says about the horrible curse is “Don’t put this on your head”. 😂

As a public facing employee, I wish I could yell at someone to read the fucking manual/labels.

Always do that^^ Due to that, my rental contract was signed 2 years after I moved in...Found so many mistakes, they had to fix and they agreed to moving in while working on it^^ Example: furniture listed as present, that wasnt...

Anyone that knows contracts knows you can put anything in the fine print that doesn't make it legal! But then again you control your own court system...

This is a classic. We here at ACME are always here to help. But remember our CEO has a brain the size of a walnut. Read the contract while using an ACME magnifying glass and have an ACME day.

It is frustrating that the buyers don't read the fine print like they know everything. A knightmare for everyone in customerservice

And this is why Wile gets in trouble. Doesn't read the fine print, or misuses the products.

Auto CC is funny sometimes: "ACME stars are responsible for the misuse of Robotics or information."

Ok, get John on the line, I’ve already cleaned up to many alien invasions from stuff like this

So, wait. Is it negligent non-use if *I* don't use the product, but my NEMESIS does, or is it negligent *use?* Time MIGHT be a factor. It depends on if I can keep my lawyer alive. Please forward my calls to my respawn pod.

Despite information being the most readily available it has ever been, consumers have only gotten dumber. In the past, car manuals told you how to adjust the timing, distributor, etc. Now they warn you not to drink the contents of the battery and have reminders on the screen not to forget your child.

THIS IS WHY YOU READ THE DISCRIPTION...*sigh* I get the clean up crew ready

So it's Acme responsible for anything then?
