I receive a lot of questions about budget UK brand The Inkey List. Are they any good? How do they compare to The Ordinary? Here I review The Inkey List Retinol, at the ridiculously affordable price of under £10. Is it cheap because it’s useless? Is it better or worse than The Ordinary’s Granactive Retinoid 2%?

Just found your channel mate. Been looking for a guys channel like this.
46 year old guy here also into skin care but by no means an expert so I’ve subbed to your channel.
I’m actually using this product now, been about 2 weeks and seems to be ok so far.

First time on your channel, i really like your videos! :).
Im a little confused tho. im using the 0.5% retinol in squalane from TO and i thought maybe giving the inkey list retinol a chance would be a good idea, but i'd definetely would like to increase the percentage after i finish the TO retinol and start using a 1% retinol. i thought the inkey list retinol was a 1% ret, but apparently, since one of the retinoids they used is a retinol derivative, its not strong enough to make the product get to be 1%.
and also, retinol seems to be very down in the ingredients list.
so idk what to do!, could you give me a recommendation please? <3 thank you and thanks for your videos.

So the question is: Do the cheaper retinols stop working? Is there ever a reason to bump the strength up ... to pay more? Or if the skin keeps shedding why bump it up?
