Hey ladies, my name is Amy North, I’m a dating coach from Vancouver, BC and today I want to share with you seven signs that you’re dating a toxic person.

Now I know that dating the wrong guy can be a tough reality to face, but if you can relate to the signs I’m about to cover then it’s probably time to call it quits with your man. As much as you may care about him, it’s important that you care about YOU more. Your personal well-being should always be the most important thing to you.

Great video. These signs are strong indicators of toxic women as well. I do have a couple of things to say.
#5. Being condescending sometimes (that's me btw) doesn't mean u are a toxic person. Sometimes people (whether that's your friend/relative/partner) have stupid ideas or opinions and being somewhat overly sarcastic to make them realize they are wrong is necessary to prevent them from acting upon said opinions/ideas.
#6 Supporting your partner in general is obviously the best thing to do but there are cases where your partner's goals/dreams are literally impossible or extremelly impractical. I mean sure she can follow such goals as long as they don't hinder her/our common life or require her to spend an entire fortune. Also backpacking in India is not a lame idea. It is a very DANGEROUS idea especially for a female only company.
On second thoughts i realized i might be scoring higher in the toxicity scale than i originally thought...

First of all I want to say I am a big fan of your books and videos!
I have a question/situation that I would love your opinion on.
I met a guy at a party on friday, he's 25 and I'm 19... We talked, we flirted, and we texted on saturday. The conversation went super smooth; he asked questions, he flirted, I did too. But we haven't talked since and I am super confused as to what happened. I'm not sure if the age difference scared him off, or if he's just super busy.
What do you think? Should I text him? I know he's starting his medical residence with a doctor I know, so that would be a good conversation starter and not just "Hey whats up?"

I was in a relationship with a guy months ago. And even though, he didn't seem toxic to me or anyone, my gut kept telling me to stay away from him. Whenever I tried to break up, he would find something to make me stay, which later on I found out to be a lie. He was dishonest about everything. When I asked him about it a few months later, he told me that he lied to make me stay because any guy and not just him would love to just 'have' me, and no one would ever want to let me go. And after watching this video, I realised that all this time I was right about everything. Thanks a lot Amy. I wish I had come across this video earlier.
