This Video Sucks, Don't Watch This 😜

Ugh, I hate marketing. I hate mentioning Red Team Tools. I feel like a corporate shill if I do that. 😆 But my colleagues would probably get irked at me if I didn't drop this here after all the hard work we've been doing.

I want to come take a class and use my education allowance but could you add in your class description “useful for fire, police and ems.” I teach all the new guys about your non-destructive techniques and it has saved the people thousands and thousands of dollars by us being more skilled at our craft because of you! Writing the cheque at the end of the job is the part I hate the most; If I didn't enjoy what I do or if I didn't like helping people I think I might feel different. I think the vast majority of people would be more than comfortable if you mentioned the site or store when it was relevant. I'm not saying you should have the link permanently in every video description, just that if you're talking about a tool or widget that you know people are going to ask where they can find them you should feel free to let them know.

Thank you for putting in the work to make so much of this accessible.

Dev, when I first met you it was in Philadelphia at the first Hope?. Do you still stay in touch with Stormbringer? My handle was the doc because I was going to Pharmacy school. I kept going and now I have a PhD in Chemical engineering and I have spent a long time in school. I have worked for Hewlett Packard designing satellite power supplies. I worked for a company that purified gram quantities of HIV virus and I became a part of Nuclear biohazard containment to guard huge quantities of the virus on its way to various labs.(very scary). I was EOD for DHS and was absorbed into their Technical surveillance countermeasures team until one day when someone came to my office and said to leave because there was a changing of administration. I walked out that day and never looked back. That is when I finished my Master's and then PhD in organ-metal transition catalysts. Pretty crazy life so far. I am thinking of settling down and becoming a mobile locksmith and starting a shop/garage that specializes in pre-WW1 race cars and exotic sports cars equipped with distributors. I would love to catch up with you over the holidays or maybe after the Holidays. Talk to you soon.

I don't think you should feel strange about mentioning Red Team Tools by name. You're doing epic shit over there and making folks dig around Google trying to find it doesn't *really* change the situation...

As long as the link for the product is the one whose epicness you're demonstrating in the video, linking to it seems fair game to me

You really shouldn't feel bad about making these items available to people who appreciate the chance to buy them. Harry (LPL) pushes Covert Instruments in every video for goodness sake, and I bet his prices are not as good as yours. I love good tools. As a software designer (one of many things I do) I always considered myself as a tool maker. My stuff helps good folks to do better work.

I'm glad that the site you don't mention is independent. I had clients who were vendors for "the big book store in the sky". Writing THAT interface was my worst torture.
