So just to confirm, I did this as soon as it's possible to get to the tower (after blowing the horn) so it's doable right off the bat. I lit the braziers first and beat the enemy that's there (a powerful one but easy to cheese). Oddly enough it counts towards the closing tears labour.

If you're have trouble, start when you enter the area by looking down and making sure you're in the center of the circle then look up at the temple in the distance and start. I couldn't get it to work without looking down as I moved in to place, personally.

This game still has puzzles no one has figured out. Like there’s some weird hidden stuff on Konunsgard too, something with the rock piles there. This game is amazing lol.

Ok...you can do this in two parts. Concentrate on getting the first gong. So look at the mountain, left flame, mountain, right flame, left flame (for good measure look at the mountain again). Once you hear a gong, you don't have to do that part any more. It isn't 10 steps, it's 2 steps of 5. Then you can do the next part. Once you get the second gong the portal will appear. Figuring out the two parts thing saved me immense frustration lol.

Got both gongs. The braziers are lit the enemy is dead. No realm tear appears. Now I can’t get gongs again because I’ve already done them. I went here right after water level dropped for 2nd time via the head and serpent conversation.

After so many tries I finally got it omg. For it to finally work for me, I pressed L2 really quickly and for only an instant everytime I looked at a direction. I think that helped register to the game that I was indeed looking in that direction

You have to do the look all at once. It helps to have L2 on to aim.

It took me 30-45min, and nothing was working. I had camera look (horizontal/vertical) and aim (horizontal/vertical) sensitivity set to 6.
I set sensitivity back down to 5 and it worked on the first try. I did it almost identically to how it was done in the video. I have mimir and the braziers were lit..

The spot you have to stand is very very very... very very precise. Also if fublewinter is happening it wont work.

if anyone was wondering, yes this works on PC too. got it using an Xbox controller (which is ironic) took me about 10 tries though
