I hope you enjoy reading Next Year in Havana. Being of Cuban descent I related to all the main character felt. It made me cry at times.

I really loved Elantris. It was my first Sanderson and although I know it’s a least popular book, I really enjoyed it. I hope you do as well. I know this was his first published book I think and others say not his best but it may be it was the first one I read by him but it has a special place in my heart for me.

Hello from France Jessie, I have read Elantris two months ago and I have really love it. The world building is so well and characters so attaching. My first Sanderson and a great discovery of the fantasy world. For my part, I have to read the 1st book of the Mistborn saga Final Empire. I struggle SO MUCH to continue series. And I’m definitely interested in the series, I just continue to get tempted by new books lol 😂
And I’m like you, if I don’t continue in a certain amount of time, I’ll need to restart, which just takes up more of the limited reading time.

I hope you manage to read these, I am curious about your reviews. But it’s ok not to put a lot of pressure on yourself, in the end you must keep having fun and enjoying what you read, and you can try to prioritize those that are more “urgent” and the rest you can read at the beginning of the year. But as someone who loves to plan too, I get the ambition 😅

I feel the same way about historical fiction. When I get around to reading it, I enjoy it. But it's not my top genre. I buy it. I have it on my TBR but since I'm a mood reader, it never gets prioritized. Unless it's a book club pick.

Great TBRBEoY! Particularly recommend Jade City. The other two books in the trilogy are also great. Second doesn't suffer from middle book syndrome. Third really sticks the landing.
