Distance learning has swept the nation (along with many other countries)!

But how can you, as a parent, ensure your child stays on task?

Well, for our daughter, we have learned some tricks :)

She is in third grade and enrolled in distance learning through her school.

She is in a class of 57 kids!

That's right... our daughter's virtual class has 57 students in it!

The craziest part?

There's only ONE teacher...

This means that my wife and I need to make sure that she is participating, actively doing the assignments asked of her, and SLOWLY working her way toward independence when it comes to distance learning!

Online schooling is handled in a much different way than the traditional classroom...

Most of the day is spent participating in independent learning, and self-guided assignments.

This can be difficult for children... especially children with special needs!

Here are the top five tricks WE have used to ensure our daughter gets the most out of distance learning possible!

My daughter went thrue tutoring services with " Special Ed" I was personally shocked when Luke Dalien ( guy on the video ) actually called me back and was planing with me how the first zoom tutoring would go. The 2nd meeting is with his wife who is so sweet 💖 . I've got to admit the tutoring services changed our life's 🥹 we will always be grateful. 🥰 My daughter having dyscalculia could not make sense of numbers at all & would refuse help having panic attacks rb class in November by the end of school year it was a complete 360 .We cried happy tears when she finally was understanding her math on Dec.1st then remembering methods of doing math & writing, and reading comprehension. Highly Highly recommend Luke with Special ed ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
