Ngl, I’d buy it just to throw something like arch or gentoo on it. FreeBSD would probably be a bit overkill when it comes to speed but it would be nice nonetheless

I actually bought one of these for work, you can add a nvme drive to which helps a lot since it basically lives on page file. It's not too bad for the money

can't wait for the official windows lite release (if it ever comes out at all). might make machines of this spec actually comfortable to use

I guess it's not the worst if you install a lightweight distro of Linux on it. It can definitely perform decent that way. But I guess it's nicer to just buy something second hand of you need a cheap laptop since a similar prized second hand laptop in good condition will most likely have better quality in many ways

Id get one if it comes with atleast a 8th gen I5, and a bare minimum of 16 gb of ram and 256 storage
