I feel like a kid whose parents got a divorce when they broke up but Richie had a family that needed him and a band that didnt. He had to go on with his life and deal with his addictions. I praise him for that. As a huge die hard fan of 40 yrs, im so happy with the amazing music catalog from 1984-2013. Hopefully hes living a sober happy life. And i hope Jons voice heals and doesnt affect his singing forever

Jon knew Richie was unhappy. Jon and John Shanks wanted to get rid of Richie. Jon could have put a stop to John Shanks crap anytime he wanted to but I think that Jon found a way to get rid of Richie and Jon lied when he said there were no bad words between them! I think Jon was jealous of the stardom that was Richie. I think from the interview of Richie in the Guitar Player Magazine pretty much said the true story. Jon turned out to be very ungrateful to the par t that Richie played in making the band a success! AND RICHIE PLAYED A MAJOR PART IN BON JOVI'S SUCCESS! FROM THE SONGS HE HELPED WRITE AND HIS BEAUTIFUL VOICE AND HIS AWESOME GUITAR PLAYING! Richie gave 31 years of his life to that band and he deserved better from Jon!
