Its a great game. I never put an insane amount of effort and time in it but its great to come back from time to time, enojy the story, new quests, new maps and some WvW.

I left WoW in BfA for GW2. WoW was like a job, running the same raids and dungeons over and over, and doing the same dailies, for the chance at a different color of the same drake, or wolf, or boar or whatever. In GW2 you can dye your mount any color you want. The $15 I used to pay for a subscription fee, buys three random mount skins in GW2. So you can spend your time doing whatever you want.

And no one will ever kill you because their gear is better, or they're a higher level. All pink and purple gear is equal.

And the mounts are amazing.

Man I miss playing the original guild wars. I was 12 when it came out and ran through the whole campaign and two of the DLCs with my dad. Miss those times. I’ve only played maybe an hour of GW2 but need to get into it
