I Paid $150 for a BROKEN Nintendo Switch Lite - Let's Fix It! I found this broken Switch Lite on eBay. The left analog stick was broken and the charge port was damaged so it wouldn't charge or turn on so no way to tell if there were other things wrong. I worked on replacing the charge port first which was tricky because I couldn't find anywhere to buy replacement ports. I ended up retrofitting a charge port from a Switch which took a bit of time but did get the Switch Lite charging again. Then I replaced the broken analog stick and the Switch Lite was good to go!

About This Video: Fixing a broken Nintendo Switch Lite I bought on eBay for $150. I replaced the left analog stick and, the harder fix, replaced the damaged charge port. This was harder because I wasn't able to buy the replacement port...I had to modify a Switch port to fit the Switch Lite. But it worked!

Fortnite was the last game played and it has parental controls on
So Probably a little kid raged at Fortnite and broke the stick lol

I can't even be mad at that sponsorship ad. It's clean and fits right into the video. Love your stuff!

When I bought this Switch Lite they were selling for $225-$300 used on eBay. Prices have come down since then but I'd still be able to make $50-$75 on this repair. Next week I'm showing a $70 Nintendo Switch!

I love how you just say nah I will remove this battery port to make sure it is alright and will put it back when I'm finished, you have really good soldering skills!

I love how you cut the music just to say that it's the perfect amount of thermal paste.

Sounds way to $$$ for a broken switch lite. This should be how much it cost used not broken.

150 sounds like too much for a broken mini switch, they cost 200 when they are new.

Power ports on Nintendo switches are a pain in the ass to replace.

Good job Steve :-) You made that look so easy but those USB-C ports are really tricky. You are a true pro my friend :-)

Always happy for you when you manage to fix your stuff, seeing all the effort/patience you put in (not particularly that session, but others that were tougher).

This is the first I’ve ever seen of an analog stick literally getting ripped off of a switch lmao. But, as always, you fixed it and you did it in a real entertaining fashion. Great video!

Every time you fix and turn on one of these broken switches the games are always: Fortnite, Minecraft, and a bunch of free stuff lol. Maybe a lego game if you're lucky.

I just wanted to say thank you for sharing these videos. You were in my youtube recommended and being a very unhandy person, I was intrigued watching you fix microchips etc. I'm normally the type where if something breaks I just toss it but after watching you fix so many things that just needed a cleaning, I decided to open up my dog treat throwing camera when it stopped working. Sure enough there was a treat wedge in a place it had no business being and works good as new! You inspired me and made me brave enough to try to fix it myself! Thank you! :)

My father has always been into fixing electronics, since he got retired 3 years ago he started fixing more and more stuff. He was really surprised and happy when he realised that I know some stuff about fixing electronics (stuff I learned from you, Steve). Now we have more things to talk about lol. I showed him his channel and he was really impressed with your professionalism, too bad he doesn't understand English perfectly, but I still show him your videos.
