I remember that day back in 2016 when i was a 13 old guy went to mobile shop to purchase 4Gb memory card on that moment i heard mobile shop mechanic talking that :- "jese jaa rha hai lag rha hai ab woh dinn durr nai jab memory card mobile phones se hatt jayenge" that time i felt it is not possible at all but if we watch in current scenario those mechanics words become true

Mobile companies are slowly exploiting us. In earlier days, one could easily replace a mobile battery by own if there was any problem or need. That feature was stopped some 9-10 years ago. In recent years they are also removing headphone jacks. Nowadays companies don't provide chargers too. Some companies provide the data cables, but some companies don't even bother to give data cables in the mobile boxes. And now they have introduced hybrid slot. This is the most disgusting thing and I hate it from the core of my heart. Why I will not be given a dedicated triple card slot, why hybrid? Why I cannot keep two sim cards and a memory card in a slot? Why I have to choose either a second sim or a memory card? One can agree or disagree, but microsd external memory card is still a useful thing. Middle class people like us who use a phone for a long time, external memory card is a reliable storage option to us to store data safely and not to give burden on the device. But now the companies also want to remove the feature slowly. Hopefully, I am using an older device, Realme Narzo 10A. It has headphone jack and triple card slot. But don't know how many days it will run. Maybe I will buy a new device in upcoming one or two years, but the way the companies are removing basic features is still making me think. One month ago my father bought Motorola G34 5G. Though it has dedicated headphone jack, but he is disappointed with the hybrid slot.

Actually no. Ufs 3/4 supports 2000 to 4500 MBps speed equivalent to a regular NVME.2 SSD. A high speed memory card like UHS II has a speed of barely 200MBps and costs near 5000 rupees for 256 GB which is same price gape of 128 and 256 GB mobile varients.

I have Motorola 50 fusion this phone is insane in every perspective bt 1 thing I miss that is extended memory card slot coz I have so much of data my variant is 256 still it is nothing for me 😢😢😢

1. Apps that matter like bgmi, cod dont support direct sdcard integration
2. Majority (cheap) sd cards corrupt your data in the long run, and also very slow, and eventually dont work.
To sort out this problem you have to buy very expensive memory cards (original) and when you do your math, phone with larger inbuilt memory makes more sense.
For eg : an original 128gb memory card will cost approx around 50 US dollars.
3. Apps that run with sd card are slow.

There is a huge difference in speed between internal storage and external memory cards. Applications and games load faster with internal memory.
If you want to use a memory card to backup your files, then just use a OTG cable and connect your pendrive or memory card.

We should complaint to Indian government that all mobile phones coming under 30000 must have dedicated memory card slot otherwise and increased GST slab of 28% should be applied on those mobile phone model brands which don't provide dedicated memory card slots🎉🎉
