Maine Is The USA's Northeastern Most State

Maine is known for its rocky shoreline on the Atlantic Ocean and its beautiful leaf colors in the fall. It's known for its lobster and lighthouses. The first English settlement was in 1607 and neighbors Canada to the north. It is also the end of the Appalachian Trail. Portland is the biggest city and Augusta is the capital of Maine.
