Some of these were awfully predictable tbh and nods to old skins Lol.

Hwoarang's is a nod to TTT1's 1P

Xiaoyu's is a nod to Tekken 5

Asuka's is a nod to 7 and her old school uniform from 5 and 6.

Bryan's is a nod to Dark Resurrection

Lili's is a nod to Tekken 7

Jun's is a nod to her TTT2 2P.

Lars' is a nod to 6 and 7's 2P.

Claudio's is a nod to 7's 2P as well.

King's is a nod to Dark Resurrection.

Leroy's is a nod to 7's 2P

Jin's is a nod to Devil Jin's 2P in 7

Kazuya's is a nod to the white snakeskin suit from Tekken 6 BR's intro.

I really like the Tekken 4 outfits the best in the series, such as Nina’s catsuit, xiaoyu’s pink sun dress, etc, I wish they’d go back to those outfits

I love how Hwoarang's P2 colors are a nod to his blue dobok in Tag 1 and DR!

I like how colours of Jin 's suit and his team members Jun and Lars are same for both normal suits and alternative suit

I hope the customization goes above and beyond what it was in 7. I think it'll be huge for T8

Lol, I wish they make the customization system like Tekken 6 and Tekken Tag 2 combined. Tekken 6 has body, hands, legs, and feet instead of just lower and upper, while both T6 and TT2 had the most extensive hair customization from root, bangs, fringes, and back. Tekken Tag 2's sticker system made the wackiest designs but also added bigger creative opportunities. If they also add some Soul Calibur-esque stuff, that would be so cool.

I do hope Paul Jin Jun Asuka and Kazuya have their classic looks from nostalgia costumes. Specifically Jin and Kazuya’s black and white flame pants, Paul’s Red Gi and Asuka’s jumpsuit she’s had since Tekken 5
