According to Bloomberg, Apple’s new in-house processors are set to highlight advancements in artificial intelligence. Alongside this, we might also see a new Mac Mini hitting the shelves.

The revamp includes the MacBook Pro lineup and a redesigned Mac Mini, both powered by the new M4 silicon. Expect new iMacs, a low-end 14-inch MacBook Pro, high-end 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros, and Mac Minis, all featuring the M4 processors.

The M4 chip, introduced with the new iPad Pro model earlier this year at Apple's 'Let Loose' event, utilizes TSMC's advanced second-generation 3nm process, promising enhanced performance and efficiency.

Currently available in Apple’s most powerful iPad Pro, the M4 chip is expected to boost the performance of MacBook Pro and iMac models by the year's end, making them more powerful and efficient.

Mark Gurman reports that the MacBook Air, Mac Studio, and Mac Pro will also receive M4 enhancements, but these are scheduled for 2025. He mentions, 'The new chip will come in at least three main varieties, and Apple is looking to update every Mac model with it.

The entry-level M4 chip, codenamed Donan, will power the MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and Mac Mini. The first high-end chip, codenamed Brava, will debut in the Mac Studio, higher-spec MacBook Pro models, and a higher-end Mac Mini. The highest-end Apple desktop, the Mac Pro, will get the new Hydra Chip.
