A3D Skywarrior 1/48 Model Aircraft build / SMS Paints

We had A3D's on the USS Constellation in the early 70's. It was one aircraft you stayed away from when landing or take off. Landing was more of a controlled crash. We had one hit the deck so hard it drove the nose gear through the fuselage, It was later scrapped. Very clean build on a kit not covered very much on video's ! Great building skills that are fun to watch !

Using those SMS lacquer paints for staining the light gull gray and insignia white is a cool technique. You always surprise me, boss. When are we getting your build-off with Plasmo/ David Damek?

Nice model. A3D-All Three Dead. No ejection seats, crew drops out the bottom. Used to see 'em all the time all over the world-VR-50 "Drifty Fifty".

Beautiful build! I wish we could get those SMS paints more readily in the states. But, the retailers here seem to be sold out on just about all of them. Shame, they look like they spray very nice!
