Today is my top up grocery shop for my fortnight to my '2 Week Grocery Challenge' this fortnight, I will be doing for the next 12 months. I will be working with just $30 per person per week. As I shop fortnightly to save money I will have my budget set at $200 ($50 per person x 4) for the main shop in my first week. The main shop is for the 2 weeks. Then $30 (seeing how I go with this to start) for my top up shop in the second week. Top up shops for me are for extra fresh fruit/veg, things I may have run out of unexpectedly and then things that may go on sale that I want to take advantage of.

Maybe instead of box cereal do porridge and then you could do the salad. We have started using disposable everything now. We struggle with washing up at our age so makes life easier.

On CATCH you can get the sponges on bulk packs for like 8 or 9 dollars.

As a single mum of have a consistent budget of $300 a month on food....if I don't stick to that I take from the 'fun' that's no fun 😂 especially for kids....they are only young once so I try to treat them as much as I can 😊
Like you I have a separate household and pet categories ... To me it seems easier to do it that way for tracking how long certain things last....
My problem is when I go into stores....I CANNOT put those reduced sticker items.... especially meat....
I have resorted to click and collect and the fruit and veg shop....also utilising the flybys and Woolies reward offers to bank for Christmas....which is coming at us soooo quickly!!!!
Doing this I have managed to pay off my credit card debt and now the focus is on saving for a house for us 😊❤

Love your a break from watching...but now I'm bingeing and gathering more inspiration 🎉😊❤

You did really well, yes sourdough bread is delicious and great for your gut. A video on the tips and tricks on those shopping apps would be great. I’ve cut our grocery budget to $400.00 per month ($100.00 p/w) for 2 adults and 2 grown boys as DH is being retrenched in January . Love your channel

Hi again kristie, I have scrub mummy bot temu version which came in 3 pk. Can't remember exact price though.
Troy's mum liked the coles dishwashing liquid. We don't mind it but prefer others like morning fresh

Yes weetbix bites we bought 3 pks as were $3. I love mine with yoghurt. Troy likes hĺis with milk and a little of honey but mostly milk/ sugar
I can't stand sourdough but troy says he doesn't mind it but I won't buy it. As we are all different or else we would be boring, 😂😅😊
