In this video of Living the Jo Life, we are taking on a new challenge - living like Muslims for the first 3 days of Ramadan in Saudi Arabia. Join us as we fast from dawn until dusk, perform the wudu cleaning ritual before attending all five daily prayers (Fahr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha and Tarawih) at mosques in KAUST and Jeddah, study the Quran, shop for Ramadan decorations, and host an Iftar for friends and neighbors. We will be experiencing the customs and traditions of Ramadan firsthand, and we cannot wait to share our journey with you. As we explore this sacred time of the year in the Islamic calendar, we will be giving you an insider's look at the sights, sounds, and flavors of Ramadan in Saudi Arabia. From the hustle and bustle of the markets in Jeddah to the serene atmosphere of the mosques during prayer times, you will get to experience it all alongside us. So if you are ready to join us on this incredible journey as we step outside our comfort zone, hit that play button and don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe to our channel for more exciting adventures to come.

This is actually very cool. Wow. I myself reverted to Islam almost two years ago as a former Christian and then Atheist. I can't imagine doing Ramadan as a non-Muslim since the only way I can go through it today my connection to God. Anyways I hope that you now have a better insight into a Muslim life (suhoor, fajr morning prayer, wudu washing, regular prayers, night prayers, charity, etc., ...) to see that Islam is not simply a religion but a complete way of life. It's not something that you keep at home or once a week at church. It guides your entire day, week, month, and even life. Basically, it's a life GPS with a set destination. Without that GPS people get lost in life very easily. Islam is the best gift I ever received without even wanting it. Alhamdulillah!

I've seen a lot of similar content, where non Muslims try to understand what's Ramadhan and do fasting (as a challenge) BUT this is the very first I watch people who are soo dedicated and went this far. U guys also went to the mosque for evening prayers?? even not all muslims went for tarawih, only religious muslim did. That's why I was shocked, u guys are amazing! 😂😂

Honestly this made me cry. It's so so beautiful to have people from different religions understand and practice what Muslims practice and actually see how beautiful the religion is.
