Add 60ml of boiled water and a dose of up to 18 grams to yield a 40 ml shot with beautiful crema. A burr grinder is essential for use with this product.

I love my Pro 2. Even though it may be tedious to disassemble it at times, on the other hand it's so nice to know the machine inside out and every little piece. And these pieces are very high quality and feel nice. The Pro 2 is just a very elegant looking machine.
My E61 pump machine is quicker and easier to use, but requires maintenance (descaling etc.) while the flair does not.
But for me the main advantage is the feel you have when pressing the lever. It just feels so satisfying to pull a shot with this machine.

Great presentation! I was looking at the very high end makers, but love understanding things at their basic level. A big plus is no relays, wiring, plumbing or scaling problems! I’m sold but waiting for the new 58mm machine to come up for sale in a week or so.

when you say a brew time of 45 sec to 1 min do you include your pre infusion? or is it 45 sec to 1 min from when you pull the shot after the pre infusion

Bank 500 to 1000? That’s entry level. Just ordered the pro 2 for travel or in case the electricity goes out.
