Holy shite! I thought I was the only one who liked the jellyfish. Kinda bubblegum pop but the songwriting the lyrics the production are all top notch. Someone else mentioned Crack the Sky. Great band I grew up with touring the area and John Palumbo was a fixture in the local music scene developing talent.

Utterly brilliant!

Bellybutton is great, but Spilt Milk is an absolute banger of an album. Quite possibly the most perfectly crafted album I've ever had the pleasure of listening to over and over again.

Mind Bomb's eponymous album comes a close second.

Mannequin Death Squad are fantastic! I saw them at a small venue in Leeds last year and they put on an incredible show. They switched up their instruments for a few songs and they can both kick ass at drums, guitar and vocals. Nice people too from what I could tell.

oh man these all rip hardcore. these are some killer recs!!!

might as well recommend my favourite band TWRP while i'm here! they're moderately successful in internet circles, but outside of that not so much. They're a funky blend of several different kinds of nostalgia and sounds, that being jazz fusion, electronic, steely dan esque AOR, but they also dress like power rangers lol. Their bassist is funky as hell.
