This was posted and recommended to me exactly one year after I moved away from my home, and all my best friends, after living there for eight years. I'm just remembering the feeling of saying goodbye. My best friend didn't even have a phone. We had to set up Zoom calls. I honestly needed this.

I actually started crying right away because I will never ever forget the feeling that I felt when I ran up that stairs, that night, so I could say goodbye toy dad who was dying but it was too late. My heart broke and never healed since then.

I felt this when I had to say goodbye to my childhood dog - she was the sweetest dog ever and I still remember running after my mothers car as she was driving off with her to go put her down 💔 I haven’t lost anyone since but I am scared for when it does happen again tho..

Felt this a lot. In 2016 I lost my favorite aunt and then a month later lost my grandfather. Haven’t felt so heartbroken and devastated again until my daughter's father and I broke up; 3 years together gone. It's still very recent for me and I keep finding myself crying over him.

I graduated from School this year, and I was felt exactly this way while saying my goodbyes to my friends. I was crying into one of my best friends shoulder, and she was just hugging me and comforting me, while I was crying my heart out. Then my start came along and comforted me too, she was like: "Bro why are you crying? It’s not like you aren’t gonna see them ever again." So I told her to wait until it’s her turn to graduate.
