Charley Pride - Is Anybody Goin' to San Antone (1994)

Показать описание
I found this gem of a CD at a record store at the mall close to me. According to the Liner Notes, this 1994 commemorative release of Platinum Pride celebrates Charley Pride's remarkable recording career with a special commemorative package of his 25 greatest hits. Music producer Jack Clement returned to the studio with Pride to re-record these songs using the original musical arrangements with many of the original musicians. Their goal was to make his greatest hits even better than the originals by using state of the art recording technology to enhance the clarity and richness of his vocals. Contrary now to what I said on the first song's upload, I think some of the originals are better than the re-recordings while others are vice versa. Regardless, either recording is great, and I will let you decide what you think is better.
