My mother used to read the Raven to my sister and I. My mother said we would recognize her after she died because she would reincarnate as a raven and come to visit us. Consequently, after she died, whenever my sister of I saw a raven; we would say, “ There’s mother!”

Had that exact copy of The Count of Monte Cristo, as well as a bunch of other antique Dumas works... Some even in the original french. I also had that exact copy of Dracula.

Lost my entire library to a flood and I genuinely miss my books.

I'm going for Alice In Wonderland. I love the little portraits in the binding. Of course I think my Dali copy is the most beautiful because it's mine. Books are funny that way. You see all the beauty in the world out there and yours beats them all just because it's yours.
