I knew that park in november. There was a festival there: The Cure, Pet Shop Boys, Blur, and many others.

You seem happy to be here and it gives me a very warm feeling to see people enjoying their time here. I don't know what your long term plan is but I hope you achieve whatever you are hoping to do. 😊

If you go to Parque Sarmiento on September 21st, it will be packed with students celebrating their day. Behind the park you can find a beautiful park with a small but pretty cute lagoon and there's a Bilbo cafe next to it. Its chipa sandwich is a must. There are also really cool places in DOHO (in V Urquiza like Cigalo café and Chicama) Enjoy;)

Im glad that you are enjoing our country. Prob this was recorded at 15:00. In Argentina we sleep "la siesta" (we take a nap) So in almost every city in Argentina people live btw 08:00 am to 14:00 pm. They take a short nap and go back to work from 17:00 pm till 21:00 pm. They go home and prepare to go out. They meet friends and go out at 00:00. The previa (the previus) we drink from 00:00 am to 01:00 am. Parties starts at 01:00 am or 02:00 am until 06:00 or 12:00.

Parque Sarmiento en primavera/verano se llena. De todas maneras su ubicación es un poco mas incómoda para llegar sin auto, que los lagos de Palermo por ejemplo, por lo que suele estar más vacío.

PArque Sarmiento in Winter is empty, only during week ends people go to this park, but in Springtime an summer is full.

Let me give you a couple of tips for your Spanish, try to spend more time with people who speak Spanish, listen to the radio on a local news station in Spanish or leave the TV on with a live channel from the city where you live.
Listening to the language frequently helps a lot to speak it.

Previously i had mentioned that i didn't know how you guys were convinced by buenos aires during the winter, since i dont think winter in buenos aires offers an appealing atmosphere, however now that I know you are from New York I do understand it a little more, winters in buenos aires are mostly sunny, no rain, no snow, just a bit windy in august

Hi Chanel, if you want to do something different in the city and dig deeper into the city's history, I recommend you taking El Zanjón de Granados guided tour. It's not as famous as the Teatro Colón tour, but is worth it 🙂
