A bedtime snack may help some individuals with diabetes control their blood sugar throughout the night.

Having low-carb and high-protein snacks can supply your body with a steady flow of energy throughout the night - ensuring you stay asleep and ALSO ensuring you wake up with a healthy glucose reading.

2️⃣ Take Insulin Right When You Wake Up
Insulin helps your body uptake glucose from the blood. Administering insulin can ensure your blood sugar levels remain stable.

Eat twice in a day when hungry & maintain same timings. Nothing in between 2 meals except water.

My diabetic doctor does not use insulin to deal with diabetes. He prefers to use metformin and glimepiride instead. I was recently hospitalized and took note of the fact that hospitals use insulin shots and do not use metformin or glimepiride. I find this to be odd in that both drugs are used to reduced glucose levels but hospitals have their own protocol

I was eating healthy when I was told my blood sugars were too hi. exercise 30 min a day no, try 10 min walks after each meal with weights works.

The free gift link is below the "date stamp" Aug 20, 2022, for the video. Good advice, I'll try your suggestions. I usually inject before bedtime 22 units Lantus long acting, but my fasting morning glucose is higher than bedtime. It seems like it should be lower since I don't eat after 8:00pm. I'll ask my doctor about switching to morning injection.

"have a late night snack..." talking about spreading garbage, here is the fix, eat once or twice a day, keep carbs out of your diet, no processed foods whatsoever, drink water as needed

If fasting blood sugar is high in the morning, can I exercise in the morning upon waking up before checking blood sugar and check after exercise?

Sleep enough every night 7 to 8 hours because if you don’t that will spike your sugar levels.
