Or you could just lower the fence/gate. Which you can lower much farther than you might assume without testing. But placing feeders or other objects near the fence/gate completely bypasses the blocking methods used in the game code and allows for the animals to walk over them.

Can you buy an electric fence and run it along the top of the wooden fencing? I dont play this game but I sure dont want that all around my farm "signs signs everywhere signs"
