I think you made the right decision by hiring a babysitter for the kids- I have a relative doing the same .The adults should be able to enjoy themselves and not worry about what the kids are doing 24/7 for that one night- seems like a lovely wedding !! Love from the UK!

I love all the different things done on the wedding: the save the date only idea then have the RSVP done through the wedding website, providing babysitting as an option for a child-free wedding, the pre-recorded vows. Overall it seemed like a wonderful wedding ❤

I really like the idea you had of saying your vows in private. I think it is a splendid idea, not only; as you mentioned, does it releive the stress that could happen during the wedding, but you get to say what you would say not only from the vows you wrote, but also what is natural to the setting. I think it was a good idea to not kids to the wedding other than the ones that were participating in the wedding. I think this relieves much of the stress from the people who attend the wedding. I did see some pictures of the wedding, and I thought the setting and the flowers were wonderful; and the dress was perfect. The suits looked fitting and handsome. Congratulations.
