What's up, everybody Adam here with etrailer, today, we're going to be taking a look at the Lippert components, solid steps stabilizer step kit. So this is just going to get a lot of that flex out of our steps. So as you know, when you're getting into your camper, these steps tend to flex a lot. But with this, it is an absolute solid step. So it makes it feel a little bit more like home, but it's also going to kind of prolong the life of our steps because as we start to bend over time, they'll start to work. They probably won't go back in near as well.

And we just want to make sure it's nice and smooth throughout its life. So we can protect the components that are on a tamper. Awesome. So to take these out, all we gotta do is take these pins out. They're connected, which is nice.

And all they gotta do is lift this up. Once its lifted up, we're going to place these pins. It's going to hold those little supports up. You do that for both sides. And then now you can see exactly what problem we're solving.

I mean, well as you can see, we are getting a decent amount of flex out of these. I'm not a very heavy guy, but as some of the traffic coming in and out, or maybe a little bit heavier than 165 pounds, eventually it will start to kind of work that this is just going to keep it nice and stable and make sure that it's protected. And nice thing about this is we are going to have different ways of adjusting. So we have this little knob out here, go all the way out like that, just depending on what kind of angle we're working with. And if we're kind of on uneven terrain, you can adjust these accordingly to make sure it sits real nice to where we're not going to have that real shaky step like we saw earlier.

And whenever we're done and it's set, you just put these pins in, you can just 100% tell the difference. There's no give at all. So these stairs aren't really seeing any stress so they're going to last a lot longer. So these steps are going to be adjustable with this little knob down here and at the minimums could be about four and three sixteenths. And then at the maximum, it's going to be about 14 and three eighths. So this does have a lot of good range. So it's going to kind of give you that perfect amount. So if the terrain's a little uneven, we don't really have to worry about it not working. So the adjustments are there for that. And nice thing about this is we don't really have to add it to it every single time. Once we have it installed, you can go ahead, take it up whenever we're done for the day, put it up into place, just like that. Hold these up. Couple things to think about. There are going to be some tabs and cross-members on the inside here. So we want to make sure they're going to clear. So if you have this issue where you cannot put your step up, hence all you really need to do is you can just pull these out and they're gonna work. But when you have some cross members and stuff on the underneath here, we want to make sure that we have enough distance from the bottom, where we're mounting it on our step to the top here. And that is going to be about two and a half inches. And then whenever you have your steps, all the way in what we want to do is make sure from that crossmember piece, from wherever we plan on mounting it, the width of this, it's going to be about an inch and a half wide. So we just want to kind of take that into consideration, whenever we plan on putting it on our steps, we just want to make sure we can get it out as far as we can, to the end of the step as possible. Lippert component does make really good stuff for your campers and RVs. So I would definitely recommend this to you, but if you do have quad steps, it's not really going to work. It's just too tight in there. And if you have a very tight compartment, like we have here, just take those measurements, just to make sure it's going to fit, because this is kind of in its own little area. The only other thing you can do to get more stable steps is to buy some other steps. So if you want to kind of check this out, to see if this is going to solve your problem, it's going to be the more cost effective way of getting very stable steps out of the ones that you already have on camper or RV. If everything's working out and you think they're going to fit if you want to stick around, we're going to show you how we got these installed. First things first, let's make sure that it's going to work with your steps. There's two things we need to take into account. One, we need to measure
