Sold all my cards before most of these cards were released. Seems like dark magician decks are back and have a lot of support. Wish I had stayed playing to build this!!

Updated my Dragoon turbo list and made it more of a going second option and also updated my more “pure” DM build that I’ll be uploading to my other channel Dark Magic TCG.

In the “pure” version I’m using the Horus engine. Having a lot of fun with that engine too. It’s on theme with DM being Egyptian which is cool but what I really like about it is when Soul gets popped the Horus monsters aren’t destroyed because of King Sarc’s effect.
Plus Imsety is a Dark Spellcaster which is great not only for Link climbing with Dharc but also great with Secret Village. Just an overall good engine that keeps spamming the field and having access to some awesome Rank 8’s is nice too.

The Nadir/Winda package will always be good with a deck focusing on Dragoon so that engine I use with the Dragoon turbo build.

How are there zero Drillbeams in the deck? That's like 80% the reason to play the engine.

Made this deck 2 weeks ago, with SUDA coming out and running the primite engine, should I add Ether Beryl? Or keep the main core of Lordly Lode with Imperial?

I will not give up Mahad. Hes even stronger now that we have Chaos angel. I also use The Dark Magicians to draw and summon Mahad off of Soul Servant. Then I can at least draw 2 cards, sometimes 3.

Instead of 3 DM i would do 2 DM + a red eyes Lordy gets Roar and the get DM and end phase you trigger Lordy for a free Red eyes and i like to play the bond between teacher and studend pack in a Primite DM deck too in my Primite engine i max on roar or have 2 roar and 1 drillbeam and just ditch the monster from deck.

How good would a deck like this do against a meta deck? I'm thinking of getting into YuGiOh and I'm not sure if a deck like this has absolutely no chance or it can still play the game and get some wins. I'd rather play a deck that I'm interested in than go for meta decks that I've never heard of but still want to be able to play the game against them and win sometimes at least
