Fortnite recently tweeted "We’re continuing the work to bring Fortnite back online. Players will be able to pre-download an updated version of v29.00 in approximately 5 hours." My assumption is that servers will be offline for basically the entire day, and perhaps tonight, servers will be back online. In that case, get off YouTube and touch some grass for a few hours: don't waste time searching for when this will be over. Happy grass-touching :)
