The next time I hear or see comments about Paul’s voice, and his singing I have two words for you.
Don McLean.
I saw him on a TV appearance and they asked him to “take us out with some ‘American Pie’.”
I was embarrassed for this talented man and the song of my generation.
He started strumming his guitar then gave us the opening words. He didn’t get anywhere NEAR the proper tune until he got to “So bye bye, Miss American Pie…”
He simply can not sing HIS song. I can only imagine an entire concert.
Paul’s voice isn’t perfect. He isn’t 25 or 35 or 45.
He’s 80. He’s Paul McCartney. And that’s good enough for me.

I'll tell you what's not getting better all the time and that's Paul's voice. I'm as big a Beatles fan as there is and seeing them live in 1965 remains one of the genuine highlights of a life spent listening to popular music. Having said that, there comes a time when continuing to perform begins to chip away at one's legacy and, as much as I hate to say this, I think we've reached that point. Long live Paul and long live The Beatles !!

Never thought I'd say this.... and I was 10 in 1963 when they arrived.... but's time to retire Paul. You are a genius that changed the word with your mates.

There comes a point when a singer knows his voice is gone, the audience knows it is gone, and then it becomes embarrassiing and disappointing. That point was reached a few years ago. Love Paul. But don't do this.

Time to hang your gloves Paul. I’m a Beatle fan and definitely a Paul McCartney fan but I don’t think it’s still worth it to spend an arm and a leg to see this show.
