Hi everyone
I am next era gamer
I make videos for world of warships legends
This is a team based navel shooter.
The first thing and most important thing is to have fun.
There are technical aspects to this game but it is not a simulator.
The first thing you will do like any other game is figure out the buttons.
There are many settings you can choose from but they are similar enough that it comes down to personal preference.
After you determine which you want to use, or using the default settings, the next part is getting into the action.
Playing against the computer has gotten better since this game first launched.
Pick your ship and load into an ai match.
The ships you will first have access to are cruisers.
These are the most versatile ships in the game and are the starting ship for every country.
As you progress thru ai battles gaining experience you will eventually unlock destroyers, battleships and carriers.
Destroyers are ideal for capturing areas and tracking enemy movements while launching devasting strikes.
Cruisers are ideal for their utility and damage over time. They can expose destroyers, fend off air craft and burn down battleships.
Battleships are ideal for tanking damage for teammates and launching devastating shots on anything in their sights.
Carriers are ideal for large scale recon and harassing the enemy team. They are a bit of a wild card.
Continuing your progression through ai you will eventually unlock commanders.
These characters influence the capabilities of your ships.
They also can be inspirations for each other to enhance your commander as well.
Leveling up your commanders is costly.
My best advice would be to focus on identifying what you enjoy about the game most before spending your in game resources on upgrading any specific commanders.
For example, you may start off using all your resources just find out you really want to focus on a different ship type or country.
Early in your experience just focus on having fun and learning good habits.
Once you have gotten a bunch of matches under your belt and you think you are ready for standard battle. give it a go!
I do encourage you to spend as much time vs ai as you want.
It will let you practice. Remember, this game is not a simulator but it is a skill based shooter.
Things to take with you
1 have fun, this game will eventually make you salty if you don’t remember to have fun
2 try different things to see what you like, from ship types to commander builds test the waters
3 find some people to division with, an easy way is to go to your name, then invite to division searching for division.
4 use a mic, not to complain but to communicate. This is a team based game. The team that works together will more often win.
5 don’t be afraid to get shot at. It will happen. Even if you hide. Instead focus on how you can impact the match
6 damage is nice, but I’d rather win. If chasing damage causes you to lose consider modifying something. Future you will thank me especially if you start looking at your stats.
And 7 like subscribe and follow with notification bell. It is good that you are looking for info. It will keep you sharp and ready for your next match.
