Great video, I love Kuala Lumpur. I came here for a visa run from Thailand and ended up staying quite a while, I'm making vlogs here too. It's funny that guy said it's like Berlin. I lived there for 2 years and to me they are total opposites (KL = very wholesome, predominantly muslim and Berlin = wild, eccentric, sex positive culture). Nice to see another interview from you in Malaysia!

Malaysia is generally safe. But we prefer tourists feel unsafe so they always be careful/cautious coz we don't know any bad things can happend. Plus there're many foreigners in Malaysia too.

Malaysia is the best country to visit. It is inexpensive and affordable. Country with multiculture and diversity. 🇲🇾

To the brit gal, I hope she departs Malaysia on a good note. She should try googling of the place before visiting, not knowing Bukit Bintang is like going to London and not heard of Oxford street.

Not clear what actually happened to her, Malaysian men don't really gawk at foreign women. Maybe they're not local, there's more than 3 million foreign workers in Malaysia.

Thanks for the vlog and honest comments from every interviewer. I'm Malaysian and hope you ignore those haters' comment. Netizen of Malaysia is sensitive to criticism 😂 but in real life we are nice people

Try asking the brit to go to paris now (alone). In daytime you will see the gangs of pickpockets.

I would like to add, there are many migrants and refugees here like Europe. Please be aware of your surroundings.

Thankyou for your videos…I’ll be in KL and Penang in August. I was first there in 1978 and 1985 backpacking. Last October I was in Georgetown for a few hours off a cruise ship. Im travelling solo, but only for 12 days from Perth Western Australia. I can’t wait to return! KL has changed SO much since 1985. Im looking forward to my 4 star hotels this trip, and definitely not carrying my luggage on my back! Malaysia was so easy and free and safe way back then when I was 25. Love your videos and questions. Warmest regards from Western Australia 🦘🇦🇺

It sounds like they need to create some overhead walkovers there in KL to enable ease of crossing. Too right that Bangkok has improved on that over the years plus, of course transportation big time. Wow, the Brit and the bad experience. Pity there likely wasn't a chance to report the person and have them charged. l Feel sad for her. A top assortment of interviews champ. Well done Chai 🤩

Hi Champ, welcome back to Kuala Lumpur. On the subject, Kuala Lumpur and the rest of Malaysia are generally a very safe place. Just be aware of the foreign immigrants that are causing a lot of these irritations. The locals in general, are very respectful of others and are friendly to tourists. Just be mindful which part of the city you are in when in Kuala Lumpur. Just like any other country in the world, there are places to avoid and places which are recommended!😅😊

Agree with Jack from Taiwan. There aren't enough pedestrian streets in not just KL but literally all Malaysian cities. Our city planning is just terrible. 😑

It's ok for our honoured guests/ visitors to have negative comments on Malaysia.. that's the way to improve....of course constructive comments/criticisms should be welcome .... anyway PLS take note that Malaysia especially Kuala Lumpur has a lot of immigrants ( illegal ) some may look like Malaysian but their attitudes towards tourists may be unwelcoming n dangerous ...n Malaysian ll be blame ...PLS be wary at all times 🤗

The German guy you interviewed by the River of Life is really nice, stayed positive about Malaysia. The one after that you interviewed at Merdeka Square, the one that said he felt the vibe of Berlin in KL, the one that said Malaysia is wealthier than Indonesia, obviously didn't realize, didn't know that Indonesia is the only Southeast Asian country in G20, with the highest GDP around USD1.5 trillion, of course with a population of hundreds of millions, the median for GDP income per capita in Indonesia is still in the status of a developing country like all the countries in this region with exception to Brunei and Singapore (one of the highest GDP income per capita in the world).

Lovely episode! Loved the energy of the guy from Taiwan 👌 sorry to hear about the girls experience tho.. But bad apples are probably in any country, thankfully nothing happened to her.
Stay Safe, Chai ❤️👋

Well of course jika nak mencari kekurangan sebuah bandar memang la akan ada. Setiap tempat ada kelebihan dan kekurangan. But setiap kelemahan yg ada akan cuba diperbaiki. Harap pihak yg terlibat bersikap proactive utk menambah baik kelemahan
