Wow! This interior is truly turning out incredible! Next up, time to work on maintenance and making this car RUN proper! Subscribe so you don't miss an episode! The anthracite pillars + suede headliner was a very expensive dealer option, that's usually found on higher end supercars/exotics... But now, in our E92 335i project!

Every $1 spent = 1 entry to win

A stiff bristled scrub brush works really well when removing the old foam backing...

To remove the headliner foam use lacquer thinner. I swear it eats through the foam! Did it on my e92 328i

I quite liked the shift knob/parking brake boots. Goes well with the theme of the car (performance)

That interior is looking slick! Good job guys. I agree with the shift boot swap out. It was a cool idea, it's didnt flow with the feel of the interior.

For removing the burned foam off the headliner, you can also use a brass brush or rough grit sand paper

Love this. I have a E92 335i just like this. Definitely want a black headliner. It would look great with my coral red interior

Walnut blasting made a huge difference in my idling for sure. It's a must do on the n54

They did a brilliant job of that headliner! I only attempted one and in the end I gave up and got it done professionally and I'd never try it again.

I did this on my e92, and let me say getting it out is not as easy as it looks in this video haha. Also when picking out a new fabric, especially if you want a real or synthetic type suede, you want a very flexible fabric because this headliner has a lot of curves and shapes the fabric needs to fit into. Don’t forget it may be cheaper to get the a and c pillars wrapped in suede (or whatever color) rather than buying new or used ones! I hope this helps anyone wanting to do this!

Nice interior transformation!! I am doing my e90 355i Sedan and I am pretty much in the same processes as you all are doing. Loving the color change and the carbon fiber. Definitely want to apply that to mine for sure.

Trying to per-"suede" that foam off must be exhausting 😂
