A truly jarring experience. But for the Ukrainian people, it ain't shit. The resilience of these people is amazing- they've chosen to stay in Ukraine while war is on their doorstep. And while Lviv feels safe 90% of the time, that 10% is really scary.

Ukrainian American here - just stumbled upon your page, love the videos. Thanks for shedding a light on the situation in Ukraine. I hope things are just as ‘normal’ there today as it was 1 year ago. All the best.

Damn dude that was deep. And they may not know it but those people are practicing the values of stoicism and not wasting a second of their time because tomorrow is never promised.

We are really used to the sirens. The fact is that any plane that takes off on the territory of Belarus and then turn on the sirens. It is impossible to determine for sure whether there will be a missile launch, but the sirens turn on at any threat, so you can hear it often.

This reminds me of living in Kansas—when the tornado 🌪️ sirens go off, people go out on the porch to watch 😆

Those sirens are eery. We often heard those when escaping from Bosnia in early 93'.

The lady at 1:48 seemed embarrassed or sad that you were afraid but I wish she knew it isn't her fault it's like living in a bad neighborhood you can't control what your neighbors do 😢 hope she's doing well ❤

Thanks for sharing this experience. It's sad that such video has only 20k views, but some stupid videos get millions of views.
