I love how you call out the differently colored pieces and how you want them to fit more with the color scheme of the set.

The armor on his hips (Not the grey one) is supposed to go up, not down.

Jang, I think the grey pieces you mentioned around 5:35 might be intended to suggest a belt of sorts, and, going with that, the triangle-circle design would act as some kind of "buckle". For the record, I can't remember right now without pulling up the movies whether Vader actually has a belt or not in Star Wars canon, but personally I don't think Lego would have purposefully jammed the leg.

That effect where you have to overcome the drag is called "stiction". The head assembly is really cool, it just looks freakish when you are moving it all about.Thanks for sharing!!!

This set's complex technic torso gives me hope for future sets utilizing the CCBS system.
The build certainly stands against the stigma of CCBS being too simplified.
