📢 Blood Donation Camp On World Aids Day

📌 The Red Ribbon Club of E.S College of Nursing Organized a Blood Donation Camp (December 10th, 2024) in Collaboration with Blood Bank GVMCH at ESCON campus. Dr.Vijaya, M.D, Department of Transfusion Medicine, Dr.Rakesh Sharma, Blood Bank Medical Officer & Mr.Ashokkumar, ICTC Counsellor, Ms. Kala, Senior Blood Bank S/N, Lab Technician and other staff from GVMCH Blood bank were coordinated the programme. Prof.Porselvi.M, Principal welcomes the gathering and explained the importance Blood Donation to encourage the students and staff to donate blood and help save the lives of people in need. Donors were greeted by volunteers and directed to the registration and proceeded for blood donation after the brief medical screening to ensure eligibility for donation. Prof. Karthi.R, Vice Principal and 4 staff members and 97 student’s volunteers donated Blood. Appreciation Certificate issued for the volunteers for their wonderful service. A total of 102 individuals donated blood during the event. The maximum donation in the college was appreciated by the organizers and extend their heartfelt gratitude to all donors, volunteers who contributed to the success of the event.
