Captain Marvel will always be my favorite superhero. Fun fact: Captain Marvel was the first superhero to fly.

Great video! And great tidbit about how Namor got his name. I guess that's where Rob Liefeld got the inspiration for naming his Extreme Universe character Roman, who appeared in the pages of Brigade.

Would enjoy to see videos on the subsequent comic era's. Keep up the entertaining work!

I'm just getting into the Golden and Silver Ages of comics. Before, I mainly collected modern age (DC Rebirth, mostly). But now, I'm going back and getting older volumes from the 90s and the earliest stories.

Captain Marvel first appeared in Whiz # 2 not #1 #1 was an ash can for copy trademark purposes which never hit the stands.

2:17 was Funny Weekly with Submariner never published? I think Namor doesn't appear to the public until Marvel Comics #1 dropped in August of 1939 (Oct. cover date). It's cool that they were set to debut the same month.

Wonder Woman isn't the first female superhero, even for DC.
